Unsere kurze, nur einwöchige
Reise begann in Johannisburg (lokal als Jo’burg bekannt). Mit dem Leihwagen
fuhren wir in den großen Kruger Nationalpark und besuchten die kleinen
Länder Swasiland und Lesotho.
Our short one week vacation started in Johannesburg (locally known as Jo’burg). We visited the Kruger National Park and the tiny countries Swaziland and Lesotho. |

Diese Kirche (200 m vom
Konfluenzpunkt 26°S 29°E) wurde am Vortag durch einen Tornado zerstört. This church (in 200 m distance from the confluence point 26°S 29°E) had been destroyed on the previous day by a tornado. |

Jetzt sind wir im Kurger
Nationalpark angekommen und sehen aus aller Nähe die folgenden Tiere:
Impalas (Schwarzfersen-antilopen). We have now entered the Kruger National Park and we observe from very close the following animals: Impalas (an antelope species). |

In der Nacht wird es kalt,
so dass die Warzenschweine bevorzugt am Lagerfeuer nächtigen. The nights get chilly, such that the pigs preferably sleep next to the camp fire. |

In einer Hütte im Park haben
wir Salat, Bohnen, Weisskohl und Hackfleischwürstchen im Zwiebelbett gekocht. In a hut in the park, we have prepared a salad, beans, cabbage and minced meat sausages on onions. |

Menschen traditionellen Naturreligionen; die grosse Mehrheit bekennt sich zum
Christentum. Auf dem Felsen hinter dieser Kirche fanden wir die

so sehr, dass wir ihn kaufen wollten, obwohl er noch nicht ganz fertig war
(nach 2 Monaten harter Arbeit). We found this carpet so beautiful that we wanted to buy it even though it was not yet completed (after 2 months hard work). |

In Windeseile machten
sich 7 Weberinnen daran, den Teppich in einer Stunde für uns fertigzustellen. Seven waver curry to complete the carpet within one hour. |
